White-winged Fairy-Wren

During this trip I saw 10 species of FW, and all were extraordinarily beautiful. Because of the windy, cold and rainy weather, unfortunately I couldn't get better footage of this one (but see Superb FW!).

Unidentified anas dabbling duck
0:55
This female/juv dabbling duck was video-scoped on 31.10.10 in the hope of helping confirm its id. Sorry about the quality; it was distant with poor light. The clip has been slowed down a little.

White-browed Babbler

We regularly saw small flocks of this species in central Australia, however, getting a good video is another matter since they move around quickly.

Mangrove Robin 2

Although a pair was seen here within 20 mins, I found this species easier to find in the mangroves on the northern end of Cairns Esplanade.

One of a pair feeding early in the morning. Apparently the tide is right, early mornings, only a few times a month, so we were lucky to see them on our second try.
