Q: What can I upload and what's the maximum file size?

A: We accept pretty much any file format eg .wmv .mov .mpg etc. After you upload, wait a few minutes whilst our server converts it to a flash file. Maximum file size is 100MB.

Q: Why are you converting my videos to flash?

A: Flash is the most widely accessible playback format for most users on the web. By uploading your video to Surfbirds, you are ensuring that your video will be easily seen by most web users out there. Quicktime and Windows Media requires many users to download a plugin before being able to view the videos. this is why popular sites such as YouTube and Google Video use flash.

Q: How do I make my videos look really great?
