Surfbirds Share A Photo

Japanese Black Salamander , Japan, Hakuba-Oike、Niigata Preecture, 2017.08.17

Very common, with dozens seen at the side of the lake, eagerly devouring moths and other insects that had fallen in, or small water beetles that swam by. A Japanese endemic amphibian.
