Surfbirds Share A Photo

An extremely rare breeder in CT. Charlie Barnard first discovered a singing male the day before. Subsequently at least 2 birds were seen several times, including carrying fecal sack, and carrying food. Nesting success unknown. CB secured nest site by contacting the farmer. Exact site is guarded due to endangered breeding status in state. More photos on my website.
