Surfbirds Share A Photo

Greater Hoopoe Lark , Malta, Comino Island, 11th April 2014

Birding in Malta
After all there was only one Hoopoe Lark in Malta, on the beautiful Island of Comino, first seen on the 8th of April and remained there till at least the 13th, when it was last seen. Claiming that there were two birds is very irresponsible indeed. The only bird looked somewhat different at times because of the lighting conditions, angle and the time of the day when the pictures were taken.
