Long-beaked Common Dolphin (Delphinus capensis), United States, Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, Huntington Beach, CA, May 2012


In the main channel of the reserve. When it tried to leave members of the pod chased it back. It must have done something not acceptable to the pod so they punished it. Several days later, it returned to the open ocean to join the herd.
