Hello Paul,

With the bird being so small in the frame, I would not have cropped as closely as you have - I do like a bit of "environment" rather than just a "bird in a box" image (although we all do it!!). I'm afraid that unless you have a bird which really fills the entire frame you are rather hampered as to what you can do.

I suppose I was trying something with the reflection which, on reflection doesnt come off! :ohdear:

very nice pics indeed, i think on the last one maybe give it some more room on the left hand side, for the bird to be "walking into view"

Yes! And, agree with michael about giving the bird more "room" in front, but the 'orrible twig bottom left makes that rather difficult with this shot.
