A trip to Madeira in August 2009 produced Trocaz Pigeon, Madeira Firecrest, Common Waxbill and 4 (presumed) Fea's Petrels. A week-long trip to the Bulgarian Black Sea coast in late September 2009 produced Levant Sparrowhawk and Lesser Spotted Eagle.
