Persisting 1-footed bird, now in 3rd month since first observed with broken foot.

This bird has been around since mid Nov 2018, broken foot then, missing since mid Dec, and now in tail molt. Seems it is getting enough to eat and strengthen self despite its handicap. Here hovering at suet.

We haven't had one of this species here since fall 2015, yet for each winter prior 6 yrs we had one or more of each (last year the first for Myrtle). This is first clear image I've obtained of what looks like a cross between the two main races, an apparent immature male.
