CWP 68c/d:   Starling roost built up by 1645hrs.  I would agree with John Grearson that about 10,000 birds were present.  Tonight they came in in groups and only flew around for a very short while over 68c (I was stood watching 68d!).  Also 2 green woodpecker, 2 great spotted woodpecker, flock of long tailed tits and Cettis warbler heard before it started getting dark.  Water Rail calling at dusk.  Bob Philpott

CWP 59: Green Sandpiper 3, Water Rail 2, Maciej Szczygielski

CWP 68a/b: Peregrine 1juv, Common Gull 1ad, colour-ringed Cormorant (9F), Stonechat,  Maciej Szczygielski

CWP 82: Peregrine 1juv, Ruddy Duck 3,  Maciej Szczygielski   (plumage differences in the peregrines indicate that there were two different birds.)
