In order to celebrate the way of life that is to be an 'ASBO Birder'I'm in the process of getting a few T-Shirts and car stickers printed. This prototype logo is inspired by my old skool graffiti & breakdance dance heritage combined with the miracle that happened on that fateful day..... April Fool's Day 2005 ..... the day that a BELTED KINGFISHER took Britain by storm by turning up at Shugborough Hall in Staffordshire. The 1st April should really be classed as a public holiday by all West Midlands birders..... well those that saw the bird anyway!

Archie Responds: Aye up yourself Phil, thanks for the feedback, there's a few changes that I'm looking at. It's my own fault, I said to the gal that designed it that I wanted I 'BK' dressed as a chav & this is what she came up with. I should have been more specific I suppose. Looking at the ASBO's in action (well I say the word "action" lightly) up in the north, you all seem pretty light on the old barnet, do you not. The Belted Kingfisher needs one of those bald caps on it.
Excellent blog by the way, what started out as a serious blog I see it has transended into a piss take (seems to happen to all blogs), great, keep it up and keep that bloody camera away next time I see you in the field, I am contracted to Paco Rabanne and the Y-front brand, they wouldn't like it.
