When you see a blog entry where the first picture is a field full of Gourds you know you are not going to get too much to tickle your fancy. That was the case around the Titchfield Canal path loop this late afternoon. I walked from the village up through the Posbrook Farm fields. I only do this because I know that one day I will find something up here. Today it was going to be six Glossy Ibis but in reality it ended up being a field full of Pumpkins.

Long Tailed Tit, Hayling Is, Oct 2007
The highlights of the walk were a dozen or so Yellow Wagtail feeding among the cattle in the field nearest to Hammonds Bridge. Along with several flocks of Long Tailed Tits; which again seem to have had a good breeding season. The only other observation of note was a steady procession of Chiffy's along the footpath.
