Managed to get a quick hours birding in this afternoon down the Titchfield Canal Path. Walking north from the Haven in between the showers I came across a steady movement of Warblers in the canal side scrub predominantly leaf warblers but also a few Blackcaps thrown in. The leaf warblers were feeding constantly often flycatching from exposed perches. Rather pleased to get the shot of the Sedge Warbler, a bird I never seem to get a good shot of; up until now. Also not hard to notice the colours of autumn in the form of ripening berries splashing colour through-out the walk. Looks like its been a good summer for the fruiting plants. Blackcap, Canal Path 3 Sep 2009........I know you can't see all it's head for the leaf!!
