Just to finish off here are a further selection of images from yesterdays visit to Botley Wood. I could not get them in on one of the other entries but I thought they deserved to be in the blog somewhere.
Particularly pleased with the lizard image. I am sure there are thousands in the wood but I don’t seem to see overly many. The number of Adders alone must indicate a healthy level of prey items. I spied this one out of the corner of my eye as I waited for the Purple Hairstreaks. I have not got a clue about the hopper type insect any ideas please let me know and I will amend as necessary. Quite strange after having no entries for a while there have been several from just one visit to Botley. All images taken 15 July 2009
