Kingfisher recorded at EHF, WLF and Rode Pool ~ Green Woodpecker regular in the Red Lane area, an adult plus 1 juv were recorded in University Way, Crewe on the 8th ~ a Little Egret was at EHF on the 12th ~ Spotted Flycatcher a pair plus 2 juvs were recorded at Warmingham, an adult plus 2 juvs at University Way Crewe, and a single at EHF ~ Wheatears on return passage were recorded at MGT on the 15th and 20th and also at Haslington ~ a Whinchat was at MGT on the 27th ~ Tree Pipits were recorded at Bradwall on the 13th and CBP on the 15th ~ 20 Tree Sparrows were at the EHF feeders on the 21st ~ Ravens were over EHF/PHF on the 2nd, 26th and 29th ~ a Marsh Tit was with the Tit flock in Red Lane on the 14th and 31st ~ Good numbers of Warblers are still present around EHF including Lesser Whitethroat, Common Whitethroat, Sedge, Reed and Willow Warblers, Chiff Chaff, Blackcap and Garden Warbler and for the first year in twelve, no Cuckoos have been recorded in the Smallwood area |
