I went to Austin for a few days and made it to Hornsby twice that week. The first day, I got there too early and Platt lane's gate was locked. So I went to the ponds and saw a number of Swallows, Spotted and Least Sandpipers.
I also saw three types of Grebes: The Least, Pied-billed and Eared:
