On the North shore this afternoon in amongst the 500 Lapwings were 16 Golden Plover, 3 Common Snipe and a Dunlin. The Pink Footed Goose was still in with the Greylags.
The juvenile Red kite flew low over the west end of the res at 5.20pm and out south over Hawkshutts rough 'escorted' all the way by Jackdaws. Other notable sightings were an immature Yellow-legged Gull, 20+ Goldcrests, 4 Chiffchaffs, 21 Cormorants, 3 Buzzards, 3 Kestrels, 33 Wigeon, Grey Wagtail on the east side of the dam, single Lesser Redpoll at the west end, 2 Dunlin and 2 Shelduck.
