BELVIDE BIRDING

• Tuesday, August 12, 2008 - Belvide Early morning Rain then Cloudy S 1-2

Despite what looked like suitable conditions again this morning another disappointing outcome followed. 11 Black-tailed Godwit (3 juvs) dropped in at 11.30am before flying off to the east at 12.20pm. 9 Ringed Plover and 3 Common Sandpiper were the only other waders noted. The family of Spotted Flycatchers were by the Gazebo hide today.
