BELVIDE BIRDING

• Sunday, August 3, 2008 - Belvide Cloudy SW 3

A juvenile Mediterranean Gull was on the north shore this morning. 3 Black-tailed Godwit dropped in at 8.55am also 1 Ringed Plover, 1 LRP, 1 Redshank, 1 Snipe and 6 Common Sandpiper were present. 2 Whimbrel flew thru to the south at 5.30pm. The Redstart was again in shoreline bushes near the shingle island. 15 Teal, 1 Shelduck, 51 Gadwall and 15 Common Tern were noted. 20 Tree Sparrow were at the gazebo feeding station.
