BELVIDE BIRDING

• Wednesday, July 16, 2008 - Belvide Overcast W 3

An adult summer Mediterranean Gull was present early afternoon before flying off to the west. 5 Black-tailed Godwit were new arrivals, also up to 15 Dunlin with 3 till early pm and 12 more this evening. 10 Common Sandpiper, 4 LRP, 4 Oystercatcher and 2 Redshank were also present.

An enjoyable ringing session this evening with 2 juvenile Kingfisher, 2 Lesser Whithroat and a Swift the highlights.
