BELVIDE BIRDING

• Tuesday, October 27, 2009 - Belvide Cloudy S 3

A Rock Pipit was at the west end with 40+ Meadow Pipit. At least 375 Fieldfare flew west this afternoon. A single Redshank was a new arrival, also 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Dunlin and 106 Golden Plover were present. A single Shelduck was new, 378 Teal were counted, 31 Goldeneye and 1 Goosander were present at dusk. An immature peregrine was present throughout the day.
