Much better Peter - this really is an unusual (and very attractive) shot of a gull.

      Well done.

      Regards,

      Colin

Thank you Colin for your advice. It really is better without the distracting Gull.
These recent shots were taken at a site created for breeding Little Tern on the site of the old Oyster beds at Langstone. This year the Little Tern arrived too late to find space (the Black-headed Gulls and Common Tern got there before them. The Little Tern are nesting on the larger islands in the harbour. Good news is that both the Common Tern and Black-headed Gulls are rearing their second brood this year. I have become a Volunteer Warden at this site.
