Taken at Parque Ambiental, Vilamoura, Portugal, 11th March 2009. This female appears to be inspecting a nest which is in the early stages of building (by the male). She couldn't have thought much of it, because this one was never finished!
Whilst watching these birds I have been unable to work out if the males build more than one nest for the females to choose from, but there do appear to be some "redundant" nests at this site.
