      The flock lookout.

      These birds have formed large post breeding flocks and create impressive displays when flying between favourite landing spots. There are about 500+ birds in this flock and to hear them take off is awsome. All the wingbeats starting suddenly out of the silence is something to behold.

      Thanks Colin. I do have a sideways shot too. I shall check to see if I can upload it.

      The problem with these birds in a flock is that if one gets spooked then they all take off like a swarm of giant sized bees.
