Good capture of a BIF, this one is in winter plumage, and GPs can be recognised by their "black armpits". to see them at their best they need to be seen in summer/breeding plumage as they are then a very handsome bird.

Joe, What a beautiful shot, and a beautiful bird too. I have not seen these myself. I really like these flight/action photos. Adds another dimension to bird images. Well done.
