Nice photo of a stunning bird Jacqueline. I have only seen two, one in the UK (Stodmarsh) and one here in Algarve with a flock of Lapwing.
It would be useful to include some "tech info" (camera, lens and settings).

Thanks Colin.
It's encouraging at the start of my birding hobby.
The pic was taken in Luxor where they are so common you can see literally dozens each day, usually in pairs.
Nikon F5 with 75-300mm f4.5-5.6. I used Fuj Velvia 100 slide film and have no record f the setting.
You're quite right, I should have included 'tech info', and will the future.
