Breakfast on the verandah is a birdwatching experience in itself. The one and a half acre tropical rainforest garden has been progressively planted over more than 50 years with a diverse range of exotic tropical plants, fruit trees and local rainforest plants. This means there is always something fruiting or flowering in the garden ensuring that the birdlife is as diverse as the plant life. Egrets and Kingfishers can often be seen feeding in our large natural pond. A large salt water pool is available for cooling off in the warmer Daintree months.
